Our Communications Practice Group believes that businesses have not taken advantage of opportunities to navigate the complex environment of voice, data, and information services. The telecommunications landscape has changed significantly over the last ten years, and continues to evolve rapidly. Significant opportunities exist looking for past carrier billing mistakes, as well as making future cost savings recommendations. Future savings can come from rate concessions in contract negotiations with carriers as well as more efficient utilization of new technology and services.

Our Communications Audit Program can be very beneficial for any size business. We closely monitor telecommunications developments and are active practitioners before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. We have been involved in many of the cases that have shaped the telecommunications market. Moreover, we have the practical experience of helping businesses navigate the complex technological and regulatory tariff and contract issues to significantly reduce their communications expense without affecting needs.

Fee arrangements are subject to discussion. Normally, we recommend a phased approach where we would charge a small fixed fee for the first phase. In that phase, we would review information about your communications use and visit your business to discuss your situation and identify potentially applicable options. After the visit, we would provide a written report assessing your likely options and discussing how we would go about pursuing those options. At that point, we would discuss fee arrangements for subsequent phases which would depend on the scope of opportunities and the nature of the work required. There is no obligation to proceed after the first phase is completed.
